START UP | Self-Employment Technical Assistance, Resources, & Training | Business Ownership for People with Disabilities

Description: Susie Rutkowski from Cincinnati, Ohio works at Great Oaks Institute of Technology and Career Development, which is a career/technical high school and adult education facility. She also is the co-director of Project SEARCH at the Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. Project SEARCH was awarded the 2004 New Freedom Initiative Award from the Department of Labor. This award recognizes businesses and people that have demonstrated exemplary and innovative efforts in furthering the employment and workplace environment for people with disabilities.
